Snapware Total Solution Pyrex Round Glass Food Storage Container Set (4-Piece) - Airtight & Leakproof for Meal Prep, Leftovers & Pantry Organization

I've had these and other shapes and sizes for years and have been completely happy with them. They are glass containers with thicker rims that hold plastic snap-sided lids. Each lid has 4 snaps, you press down (press in) each snap until you hear it lock. The lids snap on easily and securely. (Warning: I've bought others sold as snapware, but the lids did not fit at all or else ceased fitting very soon after use.) These don't have removable gaskets, maybe that's why? (The ones that I had trouble with have removable lid gaskets. I even returned some to the store.) These lids all fit right. (The other lids were just enough wrong-sized that no matter how much I tried to match up lid with container, the snaps wouldn't snap down, or some would but not all, or not without a lot of trouble trying to get them to align.) I never had that problem with the good ones.I've purchased these here and at WalMart and KMart. All good. I don't know what makes some different and better than others. I just know that if the lids don't snap on easily and securely, they go back to the store. (Contrary experience: I even own some snapware with plastic containers and lids and removable gaskets that do work fine, whereas some that had to be returned after the first use. ) I wish I could tell you why. All I can really say is, if you get a functional set and like the snap-on style, you should be happy. I put them in the dishwasher too, no problem. But I seldom if ever put the lids in the microwave. I tend to think the microwave breaks down the life of lids and plastic.Edit October 2017. I just ordered 2 sets of these. All the ones I've had for years have yellow and orange lids. These new ones have purple lids but the picture shows the same yellow and orange lids. Strange. I hope they are as good quality as the ones I've had for years. We'll see.great product for storage or in bowl reheatingThe first one of these I bought was at a Publix and it is square shaped. I love how after it is snapped closed, the rubber seal doesn't allow any liquids to seep out. I also love the fact that they are glass. This means that I can store and heat food in them. Naturally, when heating, I remove the lid so as not to damage the seal. Pyrex makes such good, strong products.I like these. Round is easy to wash. Lids work great.The so-called four cup bowl does not hold four cups. The one cup holds one cup exactly. One of the lips on the lid of the so-called four cup is not turned down completely so it doesn't snap tightly. I can rotate it and it works better! Can't quite figure out why. Also there are small bubbles in the glass. That is not a problem but it makes me think it is of less quality than I thought I was getting.All lid tabs don't lock to the glass bowls. Used for refrigerator storage. But these round lids are terrible. First order I place one of the two lids was damaged. Bought another and again one of the lids is damaged. the missing tab isn't even in the box!Buen producto
