The glass is came off from the silicon when you wash it so it might cut your hands so be careful. The idea is great and they look nice but quality isn't match to the price. I want them to wok on that part because I wanna keep buying these.I love the little food Huggers so I bought this lid and I am returning it. First of all, the white is a grayish white. Why? Don't know. But where the silicon attaches to the glass lid has many holes and crevices where water gets into when washing and likely won't exit soon enough for bacteria to grow. This kind of things; makes me nervous. When I wash something, I want to know it is clean and not able to harbor water anywhere.The lids are easy to use. One can place another bowl on top since they are solid and not flexible.Good only if the top perfectly fitsLove how these lids fit perfectly on all of the bowls in my cupboards! No more plastic wrap or aluminum foil for me. Leftover storage solved!!Wait, I paid $18 for one single lid? That is not what I expected based on the pictures showing what looks like a set of lids. Would I really want to spend hundreds of dollars outfitting my storage solutions for just the lids? that's extremely expensive and not a good value to me.I really wanted these lids to work but after giving them a week of daily use, I got so annoyed at washing them. Here are the good, the bad, and the verdict.THE GOOD- See through lids which is nice- Tight suction but requires maneuvering- Fit different size glass containersTHE BAD- It's almost impossible for the water to be drained out properly from the rim of the lid not matter how you position it. It gets quite annoying having to dry inside the edges of the lid to get it to dry off each time regardless if it's machine or hand washedTHE VERDICT:Will not re-purchaseIn theory these are great , as I have a number of odd bowls from over the years with no lids, but the glass makes these hard to stretch and use. When they fit, they’re good but when they don’t it’s just impossible to stretch them and they’re hard to clean.
