Great storage productThese particular heavier-than-normal Rubbermaid containers will last a very long time if they are not used in a microwave and are cleaned on the top shelf of a dishwasher. We love our set. My only complaint is how difficult the lids are to click on. Nothing leaks from the solid seal due to the thick lid and base material. Unfortunately, the lid is tricky to affix sometimes. I'm trying to come up with a consistent technique to use. Maybe they'll become easier with time. Otherwise, these are great. I would purchase again.These are the best storage containers. Got the 5qt to compliment the smaller ones I had.These are really good, real Rubbermaid bowls not the soft plastic throw away kind. The only problem i have is they are not the size i was looking for. I'm looking for the 5 cup that is shorter but wider than these. I can't seem to find them anywhere. These are 7x7 like they state from one corner to the opposite corner. I guess the ones I'm looking for are 8x8 and only 2 1/2 inches tall. These are 3 3/4 inches tall. I have tons of these, but I'll keep them because you can never have enough. Need to find the other size though. Just wish i hadn't paid $29.00 for bowls i already had.These are the original THICK ones peeps. Love them..I was happy to find these without the new vent in the lid. Great containers that I use on a daily basis.For one the easy find lid thing is cool. Locking them together is cool too. Well sealed and durable.I like this size, it is right in the middle. Not too big, not too small. Great for leftovers for lunch or a salad.Two complaints:1. If you cook something that has a sauce like spaghetti it is likely to stain. It also has a chance of the plastic bubbling just enough to make it look dirty all the time when it is not.2. The crease going around the edge of the lid is sort of hard to clean if food gets in there.Although they seal fairly well and the lids stay on. I'd rather have a tougher time cleaning than a container that pops open or leaks easily.dont get me wrong. the product itself is awesome. but the labeling is awful. for 1, its a pain to remove. for 2, its an absolute waste. no need for 2 labels on each container. no need or ANY labels on the containers!
