LeaksPacked meals for hubby who was taking a long trip. They worked very well.I've bought a couple different brands of these meal prep containers. I use them to pack leftovers from dinner as lunches for my wife. All the different brands have been pretty similar quality, but I prefer this style with the more flat lid (as opposed to the kind with more of a domed type lid). They stack better in the freezer and take up less space.I can't say that they're particularly leakproof. The lunches I pack up all get frozen, so that isn't really a concern for me. But if you're not freezing, and are packing food that has a lot of liquid, make sure you don't let the containers tip or you're going to have a mess.As for ease of cleaning...mine all go in the dishwasher. I don't know if you're "supposed" to do that or not...but it's worked out fine for me. These are pretty cheap quality containers (think takeout containers from a nicer restaurant) so I don't expect them to last forever. If I get a few months to a year out of them, I'm happy. The size is great for a complete meal. My husband and I prepare lunch for the week. The size helps with portion control. These would be perfect if the lids didn't warp a little. i wash them in the dishwasher and i believe that is why they got a little wacky. they still fit but they leak a tiny bit now... but i still love them to pack lunches with. just have to have a good lunch pale where they can sit flat on the bottom now.it does say they are microwave and dishwasher safe so i feel like this shouldn't have happened.Solid design, easy to clean, sufficient for just about any combination of food - except for soups, but that's obvious. Lid shuts nice and tight, however it is NOT leak-proof but it's not a huge drawback - each one I tested of the pack leaks slowly if turned upside down, which is mainly only a concern if you're lazy or if you have kids that don't seem to understand upright from upside down. Only reason I knocked it down a star. It was a bit wider than I was anticipating but that much is on me (I have to basically jam mine down in the insulated lunchbox I have), this is just an FYI if you have a slightly smaller one and look at the dimensions closely before buying. The covers warped after putting them on the top shelf of the dishwasher just onceThese are inexpensive food holders. I found them to be more sturdy and last longer and cost less than the ones they sell in a typical grocery store.
