These PlasticPro twist-top food-storage containers function very well. Bottoms are almost clear, slightly translucent, of a plastic that’s hard enough to resist stains but soft enough hopefully not to crack. The top is perhaps slightly harder, and translucent blue. They’re very nicely shaped in a way that makes them easy to handle securely, stable (not prone to tilting over), stackable, and round without any corners so they’re easy to clean. We got the 4-ounce size, which often works very well for us for small portions. Obviously your mileage on this may vary. The only way in which these containers aren’t pretty near ideal is that, while they seal fairly well, they are not completely liquid-tight; they are leak-resistant, but not (despite what they say at one point) no-leak. If you put liquid in them and squeeze or compress or shake them, they will leak some. But then, out of the several dozen brands and types of plastic food storage containers that we have (including ZipLoc and Glad), the only one that is really no-leak, liquid-tight is a screw-on “Twist & Seal” container from Rubbermaid - and I recommend strongly against that because it shortly turns brittle and cracks and shatters - and because Rubbermaid’s products and service have gone completely down the drain. So these PlasticPro containers, while not completely liquid-tight, are as liquid-tight as any other respectable container that I know of. And pretty much ideal in every other respect. 5 stars as long as they hold up. Hopefully for decades, like many old containers we still have good as new.Warning regarding these and almost all current plastic food-storage containers: These claim to be microwave-safe. And they are - but they aren’t! The microwaves themselves won’t interact badly with the plastic container. However, it’s easily possible to heat up solid food items in the container to where they are hot enough to scorch and pit and surface-melt the inside of the container. Be careful unless you want plastic in your food and food in your plastic!
